Our Jr B team held their annual Pink in the Rink fundraiser for Cancer last night. Here are a few samples. All shot with 50D, 70-200f2.8L, 6400 ISO, 1/500, f3.2, RAW. Images converted to JPEG and then run through Noiseware with minimal settings. First time using Noiseware so I'd be interested in any suggestions/settings/advice (too much? too little? can't tell?). EXIF should be embedded. Full set is at: http://christianjstewart.zenfolio.com/jrbraves/jan29 (external link) (BTW I am also now hosting all my images and have my photography home page on Zenfolio (http://christianjstewart.zenfolio.com (external link)). I really like it...let me know what you think!)

Chris - Nothing is showing. It says "content protected by owner" for all images.

I just moved my galleries to Zenfolio as well. So far, I think it was a good decision.

Ok Guys...now can you see? Looks like Zenfolio will allow me to share smaller versions of the originals. May not be as easy to comment on the noise issue though. I guess I'll need to save these larger so I can post larger versions.

Hey Christian, Those Pink Sweaters make my eyes hurt! But, the colors look pretty good on my monitor (Just had it calibrated).

Noiseware looks like it controlled the 6400ISO pretty well. I use Noiseware also with the "Less is More" mindset. I always try to use minimal settings and then take a peek before I run the whole batch. Are you using the Standard or Community version?

Well Done!

Alan:

Thanks. I forked out for the full Pro edition. Figured I may be using it a fair bit.

Chris

Can see them now. Look pretty good for ISO 6400.

I think they look nice for 6400 as well and it is a nice series of shots. Lots of good shots of the faces and puck.

Nice shots, some good action.

Our AHL team (Rockford IceHogs) dyed the entire rink pink last Friday for their first "Pink in the Rink" game. My shots didn't really show how pink the ice was, but it was surely a sight!
