I'm not sure if they're having a fight for mating reasons or what but captured this unusual behaviour at the local zoo. Typically I had the 24-70 with me when I should have had the 200.

Shots look crisp and sharp. They almost look like statues because of their rock-color!

there's alot of wounds on at least one of them. The bigger one, (male perhaps) certainly looks like he's putting the hard word on them. I hope the keepers dont let them get seriously injured.

Nice shots, I like the crisp focus and interesting action :)

I hope so too, but I can understand why a keeper wouldn't want to get between those two fighting it out, I wouldn't.

Apparently I've been dubbed Foxy.

I didn't stay to watch as long as I'd have liked as my 5 year old daughter was getting scared. As I left the two smaller ones were both pushing the larger one backwards in to the ditch and barrier. There used to be a fourth Rhino at the zoo but it died last month so there may still be some issues from that or this is the normal mating behaviour - I don't know. I'm a season ticket holder for several years and have never seen this before.

Because it was getting close to sunset the clouds kept going in and out so the light was all over the place in level and tone. I had to crop these a fair bit, a 70-200 would have been ideal.
