Awesome shot.

Did you have to experiment with exposure to get the moon like that?

It took many many many many shots with and without the polarizer, and during like 30 minutes of sunrise 7:30 - 800 am to get it right.....
Just happened to also be a really clear day... probably a 1 in 100 chance...

hows that to the people who say you cant get good pics with the kit lens!!!

(although i keep wondering what it would look like with a L series lens....)
Anyone want to donate one to a starving artist!!!! lol....

#2 is the best for me. Good job. I don't really like the shadow in #4.

Damn, they look fantastic... #1 and #2 are definite favourites. I like how it's pretty much just three colours in #1.. blue, tan and green. Really looks good.

I agree - no. 2 Rocks!........ hehe
The deep blue works really well against the bright rock.

Wow great shots. Nice place to go driving.

Coincidence but my son (5) asked me this morning why you can see the moon sometime when the sun is up - wish I had these pics then to show him.

Nice shots. Glad you stopped to photograph them.

Number 4 is a great example of the latitude your camera is capable of. It shows good detail in both the dark and light areas.

Thanks for posting them.
