Here are some mildly processed photos of my new 2001 Mustang.
Tell me what you guys think, any advice is good advice too. :)

All photos are handheld at iso800.
We havnt had any good days since I bought her so this is what I have had to work with.

Canon EOS 1D Mark III
EF 24-105mm F4 IS L

1.) Single exposure HDR using Photomatix Pro.

2.) Was a bad photo before Linear, DPP editing and PS editing. :D
IMAGE: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2804/4308757400_0b48ec5aa6_b.jpg

3.) Shot out the garage door, nothing nice till editing.

4.) Same photo as above but I wanted to see it as a burnt orange.

5.) A nice close in shot of the fender that was again and unimpressive photo before editing.

You're lucky it's a silver car. #1 is OK, but you have a halo around the front. #2 & 3 need more contrast/brightness. The silver looks a dull gray & not nearly as good as in #1.

Ya, I was going for that strong HDR look. :)
I could always fix the tilt in post.

As for needing to be brighter with more contrast, I will try it and see what it comes out to but I edited these pictures to be darker and a little less colorful.

We learn by experimenting. The results aren't always pleasing. One guy ran 605 experiments before he got what he needed. ;)

As for being lucky that it is a silver car, yes!
I love Silver on Mustangs, not to mention that body lines really seem to pop on this color and make photos more interesting.

I figured I would update this with a couple more pics.
Here are some frosty pics of my car.

The car is going to go through a lot this year as I modify it for AutoCross and Open Track.
Amsoil and Osiris Shoes are my current sponsors and I hope to earn more as the year goes on. :)

Some updates for track goodies for the car. :D

Not really artistic, but beautiful non the less. :)
(The last photo of our long sold Honda makes up for not being artistic.) :D
