Not sure if this classifies as a sport and I never got the point but obviously a lot f people love it. I was just driving around and spotted this Ice Fishing Contest. It was 18'F without the wind chill. I froze my butt off just taking a couple pics. and it was so cold I forgot to check my iso on the new to me 5D so I shot these at ISO 1600

Location was Howell MI. just off Grand River at Wilson Marina.

Ah, ok. i saw some Ice fishing sunday near my house. Cool photo. I like the incorporation of the dock

I'm not sure if it's a sport either, maybe in the same category as mushroom "hunting"! Now before anyone gets offended I'm just kidding. Sport or not there is no way I could sit there freezing my cojones off waiting for a fish! :lol: I swear every time I see ice fishing it reminds me of the movie Grumpy Old Men.
