The Robins are here by the thousands and feeding on anything with berries. Here are a couple shots from several days ago.
Thanks for looking. :)

Those are BOTH spectacular!
It's been a long time since I've seen a lot of them at one time, once I saw about 50 at Lake Fork together, then I saw a few at a time another day, but it's not that common around my house.
I REALLY like both of these shots, I'd be hard pressed to choose the better one.

What'd you use, the 100mm or the 100-400mm?
I assume the 7D too?

Thanks Randy, I used the 7D, 100-400 combo. I have never seen so many Robins like I have this year. They are all in the wooded areas near our house.

Many thanks... I like the 7D a lot. It took some getting used to coming from a XSi but it performs very well when conditions aren't ideal.

Wow those are sharp!...very nice captures! I was down in Florida and viewed these frenzies of birds. Hundreds of Robins in a group just eating everything on the tree...quite a sight...thanks for sharing these nice shots....don't get to see to many up here during the winter.

Always love the robin shots, you did a masterful job on the rusty bird... nice shooting Brad.
I still have these guys in the berry trees with the waxwings... tough birds in below zero weather or slow learners not heading south... :)

Always appreciated Dave... I haven't seen any on our pear trees yet but they are all around.
