I went to the Hampton round. Posted some pics up here a couple of weeks ago.
I hope you had as good at time as I did at the event.
I could not believe how friendly, nice and welcoming all the people were. Drivers, mechanics, officials and photographers.
Thanks Dave. I remember your post, I was guttered I couldn't get to Hampton Downs. I haven't been there.
It's a totally different scene classic racing. Everyone is there to enjoy the cars and the day, not trying to win a world championship. Of course as soon as the drivers hit the track it's still a race 
I had a great day. I'll never forget going over the track on the bridge while the Formula 500's were out. My ears are still ringing!

LOL. To be honest, half the cars I took pics of I didn't know what they were. Luckily my father-in-law was telling me what they were.
If it was a Japanese classic meet, that would have been a different story. 
This Mini Special was having a good day out there.
