I've just got my hands on an old [1989] EF 35-70mm f/3.5-4.5 which I'd bought as I needed a reasonably wide lens to go on an old EOS 100 [Elan] camera I've got coming my way.

Anyway, I wasn't holding out much hope for it, but took it up to Bradgate Park in Leicestershire to take some shots of the family on my 450D and got a few I rather like:
