Well, when I arrived at the L&D 14, I was pretty upset... there were more people there than the population of Le Claire. LOL. Perhaps I spend a bit too much time doing solo nature photography. And if the people who was chasing the Eagles off the island are reading this... SHAME ON YOU!!
OK, now, off my soap box. I was hoping for a bit more sun... and my settings were a bit off.. so my pictures arent the greatest. But I totally LOVED seeing these majestic birds. And if the 2 guys who were there, 1 from Des Moines and one from Chicago (i think), we gave you our spots by the fence.. here is the link i told you about... Very nice Terry ,it is the greatest place for shooting these beauties.

Agreed.. but it lets you know where we were... and i was shooting with a 70-300mm IS. Thats pretty much its limit. LOL
