So I can't wait to try it out this Friday night's basketball game. This is the end result of all my questions about which lens to get for my 40D to shoot youth Bball. Last weeks game could have been better using this lens. Thankfully the boys don't have to play in that horrid little gym again. The wall arangment was so goofy that I couldn't get a really good bounce off of any of the dingy tan walls. And the cieling was painted a dark brown. I used my double speedlight set-up (4 speedlites used as two sets, all fired at the same time) and my 70-200 f4L. Nothing went right, for me or our kids. A total lose, lose all around.
Anyhow, the new lens arrived today and I am completely stoked about it. It's so freaking sharp and the color & contrast is amazing! And if it's anything like my 70-200 f4L it will AF and track with ease. I can't wait!
