When I was a kid the next door neighbors has a whipping willow tree a lot shorter I believe from the one in your picture.

I just did a search for Venus FlyTrap (external link) within Wikipedia and discovered why I have never seen them in my life time.... they do not grow in Indiana!!
They are in North and South Carolina!!

They are in North and South Carolina!!

They grow naturally in the Carolinas, but they're also cultivated in other places. Nurseries sell them. You could probably buy one and keep it as something like a house pet.
