More info | Feb 02, 2010 13:24 | #5 Yeah, "quick trip", the line wasn't particularly hard by ice climbing standards and we'd already led the route so we/he could climb much faster with the top rope in place (much less risk). I wanted to shoot this on lead (I led it first, then we pulled the rope for him to give it a go) but it was sleeting while he was leading so visibility was too poor. Thus, I had to settle for this view. If you like, and switch on "IMAGE EDITING OK", I'd love to clone out the rope for you!
