We used to live in Haw Creek (saw the Fire Dept photos) but moved to Madison county 11+ years ago to get away from the big city...

Several times we found the land, but couldn't get the house we wanted. We're exactly 20 miles from the center of downtown, so it's not too bad a drive. While we ended up with 3 acres, there's over a 100 acres behind us that we're free to use anytime we want. While we sometimes miss the conveniences of downtown, we love Madison county.
