This is 460 pixels on the long side quality 5, from DPP. That comes to 146.6 KB and it looks small and grainy. How does everyone put such great looking posts on this site? Once you have your image processed, re-size to the size required and sharpen. Them use Save For Web and it will show what file size you have for a given quality.
