So I've been lurking around POTN for a few months now and have finally decided to post some of my work, so to begin with I hope I'm doing this right. These probably aren't up to par with a lot of the things I've seen on here but its a start... (oh and I'm sorry about the annoying watermark I put on some of these)

Is the size ok on these? too big? too small?

I like #2 and #4 ,both are dramatic and give the appearance of motion...without any blur

Well done
Keep up the good work

These must have been shot a while ago....

Much too cold now :)

Love the shots, but I wish you could see the faces better.

I'm liking #2 and #3, both sharp and good colours. #4 is fairly grainy which unsettles the colours for me. Good work, keep it up.

Yes unfortunately these are not recent shots, they were all taken this summer. We do however have an indoor park that I hope to go shoot at one of these days.

haha yes the weather in Fargo is outstanding this time of year, especially if you enjoy living in what is roughly equivalent to an artic tundra

I'm wondering why you would put the flash into his back, in number 2. That doesn't make much sense.

First of all thank you for looking and for the comment. The flash was actually above his head (which really isn't that important cause it doesnt change much haha) but I kept it where it was because i felt that it made the kid annoymous and that added to the story. When I look at the picture I see a story of a kid who is so dedicated to skateboarding that he'll do it at any time of the day, whether people are there to watch or not because its what he loves to do. Its a feeling that I can personally relate to and thats why I lit it like I did.

Vreeke: thank you

haha its an ollie but its over the top of a 6 foot tall pryamid/volcano type thing. Its weird because its set up like a pryamid but it has some transition to it.
