Anyone know how much it costs to get a Sigma lens calibrated and is my only option to send it in to the factory?

My newly acquired 24-70 2.8 EX DG heavily front focuses at 24mm but focuses dead on sharp at 70mm so for the time being I've been AF'ing at 70mm and then zooming back out to 24mm before taking the shot to get accurate focus for shots on the wide end.

Did you buy it new? US version? It says it comes with a 1 year international warranty and after registration 3 more additional years.

Bring it back to whoever you bought it from, if they didn't not tell you it was faulty in the first place. If they don't wanna take it back can always go the small claims court way (do you guys have that in the states?). If you want to find out a Sigma repair cost then call Sigma.

Yeah I would ask the seller if they registered it or not. Hopefully they haven't yet so you could.
