Nice! The one thing I'm lacking is the seperate compartments...

the pockets where you put the strobes? i myself won't put my 580II's on there...i will always have it on my camera bag...if you put your bag the wrong way then there goes your strobe.

not a bad price for the largest one. Interesting idea. I've heard other people using old baseball equipment bags to do the same thing.

I've been using a black Nike Bat Bag for my strobist rig for a couple years now. Ten bucks at Model's. It currently holds (2) seven foot stands with swivels, (1) kicker stand, (3) 32" umbrellas, (1) 45" Softliter, (1) 60" umbrella, and still has room.

That's very nice.. but since I don't roll/carry them around but only in my car, I bought the cheaper bag, I bought 2 when it was $24.95 but it's now $19.95:
I have 4 of the Impact Stands (when folded it's 42" long) in that bag now and I think I fit another one inside..

Well, I ordered one of the bags for my travel stands and will let everyone knows how it works once they come.

I was referring to not having individual pockets for the stands themselves. I pretty much toss everything into the bag (stands, refectors, umbrella brackets, etc.). Flash units go into one of my camera bags.

That's what I'm using now. Don't really care for how everything rattles around freely in there though.

Oh i thought of one more... We use this at work...

It has the advantage of being well padded, has internal organising straps, and wheels! It's a good option if you have a lot of heavier duty stands to carry. (Not exactly for hot shoe strobist style setups in the OP)
