EXIF shows the images came from a 40D and a 5D Mark II. Some users of this forum say they need to "upgrade" from a 40D to get better results, and other users say a 5D Mark II is not suitable for sports action.

It's good to see more proof that any Canon DSLR can perform just about any task. Maybe it's better to not be told that a camera can't do something.

Seriously, though... if you can't get good images from a 40D you shouldn't call yourself a photographer. Heck, I'm half tempted to buy new ones. And as far as the 5D MK11 goes, the only hurdle I face with that camera is when I switch back and forth between the 40D and 5D MK11, the burst rate messes with my timing a bit. If I was shooting with two 5D MK11 bodies, there'd be no effect at all.

Is more fps better... sure, why not? But is it the end of the world... I don't think so.

Any Pro or Pro-sumer body produced in the last four or five years is more than enough to be up to the task.
