Upgrade to CS4 for $299?

Got and email from Adobe today. I have elements 7 and they want to sell me an upgrade to CS4. I'm sure it is more powerful. How will it do on my 3 GB RAM Quad core PC? Would it be worth it? Intel 2.4 ghz, Windows Vista Home Edition.

$299 seems like a decent deal.

It is a decent deal if you have a good reason for the capabilities of CS4 and it doesn't push you toward bankruptcy:).

Photoshop CSx is geared toward photogs with specific needs/wants, but it's not for everyone by any means. Yes, they have a good deal for the upgrade, it's up to you to decide whether it is to you worth the $300.
