I like this shot. The last two at the beach. But as I look at it, there are times that the bird in the forground distracts me - maybe because he looks a little soft. Other times I see it as the focal point. Interesting. Cropping the bottom to just below the "trash line" immediately draws your attention to the person. Great composition either way.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and complimentary comments, Phil .. I thought about cropping out the bird, but decided to leave it in even tho it was OOF. The funny thing is when I took the shot, I wasn't even aware that a surfer was sitting there on the beach - I only noticed him in PP. Kind of like finding the prize in the Cracker Jack box, ha.
