What's your point? Those really aren't bad for noise, especially for iso 2500 and plenty of dark areas.

I think this shows that the 7D is pretty good in low light situations.

1st one is camera shake. second one just has awfull color balance. didn't notice any noise.

Noise is the least of the problems in these shots.

PyroJim, I don't see much noise IMHO. Your gear has good potential. Much better body than what I have. I do a lot of low light shots in my work. Was IS turned off by any chance? Don't want to sound negative, but your signature seems to hold true in this situation.

I do not take it as negativity-I know I am new to photography(day three)

Low light photography requires a tripod and remote shutter release with long exposures. It can be very rewarding once you dial it in. Amazing at times to see what the camera can pick up with the right settings. Keep doing it. There are a few threads here that describe how to do it. Search night shots or low light and see what you get. Good luck.

If your where trying to show us the 7D's great high ISO capabilities, then u did a great job. For 2500 ISO i would be really happy.

Got to love the new cameras. I am amazed from even a few years ago how far you can push the iso
