Not sure where these should go, but decided they are more landscapes than nature. Anyway, these were taken on the Kebler Pass Road outside of Crested Butte. That town claims to be the wildflower capital of colorado, so that's why we're here.

David, go ahead and do what you planned. Heck, I did several very much the same. BTW, Steve, the trees are aspens and the flowers are lupines (which come in several colors, but mostly blue). Anthony, I suspect the deep saturation in #2 doesn't appeal to you, and that's fine. We all have different tastes in color. cfc, you are correct that the polarizing filter is responsible for good color saturation. I just keep it on all my landscape lenses all the time.
