Uses of PW flexTT5 triggers

Just curious how POTN members use their mini/flex units.

Yesterday I purchased new 3x FlexTT5 units, updated the firmware and did a quick read of the owners manual pdf file.

Indoors of my home (end to end indoors) and the triggers fired off perfectly (no misfire) within 50ft without the AC5 sock. This is using 580exII units x2.

What are most PW users "working distances"?

NO testing for me outdoors yet due to weather conditions. So far I'm loving the remote FEC control. Zero brain effort in updating the firmware. So far I am having no issues of lack of range indoors my home. Sounds promising.

The weak link is the flash itself. Some flashes are noisy (=less range) some flashes are not (=more range)

VERY promising.

As for my distances....I haven't exceed it, apparently.
I've got no desire to walk to the end of my street to test range that I'll never need/use.
