I was just wondering if anyone knows if these two specific kits are good, and any more information about them. Are these good deals, or too good to be true? I found them both on craigslist locally. I'm a newbie, and would like to get some sort of lighting setup. If I were to get one of these kits, what would I need to trigger the stobes, and what would you suggest? Sorry for the newbie questions. Here are the kits.

Thanks in advance
-Sean

I havent priced novatron lighting but the first deal looks like a bargain for a beginner to me. Its pretty much a studio only thing because you use a power pack that each head must plug into, but thats a lot of gear for $200.

The second is perhaps a little pricey but still cheaper than 1 640ws alien bee. Perhaps with the gear included its worth it, condition would be important I think

You would need a triggering method, probably a radio trigger would be your best option.

That's what I was thinking, seems like a lot of gear for $200. Anyone else have any experience with either kit or brand?
