a shot for a high school model

dad held the lights for me

Ginell ~ In Vivid Color

this shot is dedicated to Sway – Ginell’s late friend

“Life is too short to not have VIVID MEMORIES !!!”

High School Model Shot

we did this in middle of the night, under the cool lights, and wildly vivid back ground near purdue university

i had a orange gel in an shoot thru umbrella for back lighting

front light was AB1600 with PLM boomed for the front lighting..

and the bokeh-licous background was because i was at 1.8

Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark II

I wish she was looking at the camera....she has this glazed over look on her face :(

Lighting looks great though...love the bg colors

Like the bg but her dress and pose doesn't work at all for me. I have seen much better stuff from you.

Excellent as always phamster ! I like that she's not looking into the camera....it seems like she is thinking about her friend "sway".....reflection maybe ?

i used 85 1.2 @ 1.8 but the 85 1.8 would do this shot too.. dont know if it would be as sharp.. but the colors will be the same after some post processing..

thanks guys..

Nice color and lighting over all I agree about the hair and would love to see a just little more separation between her and the background not easy in the dark I know but you can do it I am sure. :D

I think I must be getting old, I cannot for the life of me tell the ages of girls anymore. She looks like a High School teacher to me. Maybe its the skin pp? But there is no way I would have thought she was young enough to be in High School.

Good stuff, love the BG. Agree with others about the hair.

I'm sure she's very happy with this.
