My question is, when you guys go out and have the intention to try and catch something, do you guys have your camera out and at the ready? or just keep it in your bag and take it out when u see something you wanna shoot?

Slung over my shoulder ready to shoot..

If I'm cycling, either over my back or slung between the handle-bars.
If I'm walking and only have one lens, camera is out and ready.
If I've more than one lens, depends what I'm after....

My recommendation is to take each trip as it comes.
