Well everyone I never dreamed when I first joined POTN in 2005 that I'd be creating this 5000th post. I'm very happy to have met you all and that we've all been able to share our photos. I look forward to many more.

It seems a long time since I first posted a survey in Feb. 2006 asking everyone if they wanted to have a POTN BIRD forum. There was tremendous support for the idea from our POTN family and Pekka was kind enough to agree.

This is a selection of images that I've never (I hope) posted here before.

Congrats on 5000 and on such a nice selection of a varied group. I love the Anis shot. They are new one for me. All the wildlife I remember from my brief time in Cuba is the huge Banana rats. Great job.
