nature is never as beautiful as Nikon...

Thank you sir :D

I have to agree with eye2i, Manila Sunset was one of the most beautiful I have seen :D

here are some more from that afternoon alone... be prepared to see a ton of photos in the next few days, 4 days and 699 keepers and I am not done yet ahahaha

Here, with some very minor tweaking

and the Dying Sun... last minute before all the colors vanished.. I tweaked this a bit, coz I can't get the actual color, but is about how I remembered it, lots of color all over the sky.

Man i knew the sb-900 brought gels with it and now that i purchased a 580 ex ii it upsets me canon doesnt implement a similar system. The sb-900 brings a nice piece which goes over the flash and lets you slide in the gel. The camera then automatically adjusts white balance to fit the gel. On the canon side i have to basically create such a thing. Really upsetting.:mad::mad:

SWITCH SWITCH SWITCH OMAR :D

you must be really thinking about switching now ahaha....

Any idea when the D700's replacement is coming out .... Considering what Nikon did with the D7000, my expectations are pretty high for the D700's replacement

Right after you give up waiting and buy a D700. It's such an effective, successful camera that I doubt Nikon are in a hurry to replace it. I only got my D700s a few months ago, and even if the D800 comes out tomorrow i'll still feel I have a great effective camera that was incredible value. In my case the photographer needs upgrading more than the camera.
