That got me the first time I used a Nikon too. It's apparently a physics thing, something to do with the optical properties of all lenses. Apparently the Nikon is accurately reporting things, whereas Canon does it correctly and just doesn't tell the user about it.

I did make sure that the lens is covered, I have a towel inside that too... the camera was exposed though... looking at the shots, I would say the risk was worth it for me :lol:

it was wild... I mean everybody got wet and everybody are playing their own beat etc. lots of people, the Philippine President even came here too :D

definitely going to register next year so I could take photos properly without sneaking inside the parade area :lol:
