Firstly, I apologize if this is the wrong section for this thread. so mods please, if you can, kindly move this to the right section.

I wanted to post this before jumping in ahead and posting it Classified sell.
I have a verified paypal account and about 90 ebay feedback but... I have not sold anything.
We purchased the 35L after Thanksgiving with UX1006 and the 580exII was my wife's Christmas gift. These are our last items purchased so we hope to sell it with better value and they're basically new. no scrathes

I don't know how to post or how the transaction is in Sell forum.
I don't know how to price it neither. So any help is much appreciated. Hoping 1300-1350 for the L and 300-350 for the 580.

My reason is I bought a D700 and 24-70.and need the cash to put money back to bank account.

thank you in advance

Say the same things you said here over in the sell forum. That's all you need.

go thru the sell threads...there's a template that many are using now...just copy that one...

as for prices...just search the sell forum for what you are selling, and you can get a feel for what the market is, based on past sales/ads

btw one more thing. I have copies of the receipt along with boxes, do you include a copy of the transaction for warranty? I'm kinda so-so about it myself because of personal info but what's the norm?
thanx again

You put your stuff for sale. Put the prices. Tell if the price includes s&h and paypal fees or not. Buyer sends you payment through paypal. Make sure buyer has a valid address to ship things to. Mail your stuff. If expensive stuff then make sure buyer pays for insurance or put it into the price you ask.

No need to send any documentation about the transation. Hope this helps.

If you receive a payment through paypal to a confirmed address you can print the postage from paypal and it will automatically send the tracking number to the buyer, and will help to cover you by proving that you did indeed send it out.

Make sure that you get shipping insurance, tracking, delivery confirmation, and for something over $700~ I always would make sure to require a signature upon delivery. The best shipping/price ratio is USPS Priority, you're looking at between 10-20$ for shipping most lenses + insurance I think, although it could be more.
