Yes Teds is an authorized distributor, one of our biggest camera stores with stores all over Australia. Don't know why they are able to list it already. Have you guys seen the prices on Teds..

You guys get screwed on gear. I recently sold some new 70-200 f/2.8L IS II lenses and was surprised to learn they're over $3000 there. I always have inquiries from Australia when I list but the problem is sending stuff in the manner PayPal requires is extremely high.

Ok. Whatever works for you. I still find the Canon grips ugly. If the design of the grip was from the EOS 1V, then I can agree that the grip blends in nicely.

I generally run with two cameras, a pair of 5DII's. So i don't want the bulk of an additional grip. I buy one, just in case...but I hardly use it at all.

I won't be one of them. The crop can be very useful. I suppose the next thing we can expect is the successor to the 7D.

It looks like it's going to be 22 MPs. I wouldn't mind the res if the high ISO performance is very good but, I do understand people want a higer res body. Also, I don't think Canon will follow Nikon's D800 with similar spec.

If falls completely short in just about every category except FPS vs the D800 doesnt it? I've been looking for a good excuse to go back to Nikon, this is surely it.

Yep that's why I buy all my stuff from the US.
