I thought I'd try lightroom today and mess around with it.

My dog was not cooperating today. I set up the tripod near his bed, but he wasn't having anything to do with photos today. Here are two quick captures I got of him.

QUOTED IMAGE

I'm liking this a lot but I'd make one change...

Crop the left edge to right between the shadows of whatever is hanging in at the top (so the dog is much closer to camera left (eliminating the heavy, dark shelves(?)) but leave the dog biscuit at camera right.)

Then clone out the smaller triangular shadow so the dog is over an entirely neutral background.

well, he is a mixture of colors but not a mix of breeds. Most of the rest of thedogs in his litter were fawn colored. They usually do not let these dogs survive because they do not meet the requirements for the breed. Sad huh???

yea it sux but it does happen a lot... my pup is an akc, but he was sort of the runt in the family.... I kept in contact with some of the adopters and he is now the biggest one out of all of them, i guess he's not the runt anymore lol

Pathetic AND sad... the breeding of purebreds is a twisted "profession".
