USPS insurance claim turnaround?

So I mailed out my lens that I sold on 1/11/10. USPS cannot locate the package and requires you to wait 21 days to file a lost claim. On 1/31/10 I filed the claim online. Does anyone have an idea how long it takes for them to pay out on a signiture required / insured package? After a week it is still sitting in a pending state. Thanks!

I know this may seem a little rushed but I cant find the answer in the USPS FAQ or anywhere for that matter.

I think it's about 3-4 weeks, I had that happen to me too.
