Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone has tried the "Professional Glossy" series papers from OfficeMax. I tried the 13x19 paper to print out some 11x14 prints of my daughters on my Epson R2400 and they came out excellent!

I'm just a little worried they won't last like they other higher end papers that I use (Ilford, Epson Pro RC Base, etc.)

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

What profile did you use for the paper? If it's anything like Canon's papers, they'll start fading in a few months.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

My first 13by9 print using the Epson 1400 was on Office max paper. I printed it about 5 months ago, let it dry for a day or so and framed it. I havent seen Fading yet. But its only been 5 months...

I usually wait 20-30 years before checking for any fading... ;)

Yep, I used 13x 19 for a framed photo too and used Epson profile for prem glossy and color was excellent. The paper is made in Germany so I am thinking it is probably pretty high end .;)

I don't remember it being any cheaper than the good brands, so why bother?

The problem with buying "Own Label" in chain stores is that there is no consistency.
They buy from numerous suppliers as well as buying surpluses and aging stock. It can be good one time and the opposite the next.

Good reason! :)

Otherwise, you can get reliable, good brand name paper for about the same price elsewhere. Based on current online prices, Office Max brand paper in 13x19 is more expensive than Red River, HP, Canon Pro, Harman CrystalJet, etc.

Funny you say that. I took pics of my friends Harley a week ago., He ordered me red rivers UltraPro Satin 2.0 13x19 to print a few of the best on.

This the paper I am also using. The prints look fantastic. I guess we'll just have to see how they hold up against time!
