All the sudden photoshop stoped opening any files. PS itself opens, but when I open any picture file, it says the file is not compatible with this version of PS. Which is funny becuase I havent changed anything. I tried holding down CNTRL-ALT-SHIFT and having PS reset the preferences file but that didnt work. So basically im stuck. has anyone else had this issue and can maybe help me out? Im using windows 7 and CS2

Didn't work as in: You couldn't reset prefs, or didn't work as in "resetting prefs didn't help"?

You should hold down these keys while starting PS.

Any file or just RAW and/or JPEG?

Have you tried a repair install of CS2?

Holding down the buttons did reset the file, but did not solve the issue.

PS will not open any file. I tried multiple JPEG's and PSD files with no luck.

I have not done a repair install yet.

You might want to try a System Restore if all else fails. Pick a date when you know everything worked.
