Why when I save in in Premier Elements I can't get sound?

I have video one full screen, video two picture in picture, and have turned off the sound for audio one and two, but the soundtrack has two songs loaded.

Right now I'm learning, and the video is nothing I plan to publish (it's literally a ten-minute clip of me driving with one camera facing forward and one backward so that I could learn synchronization, split screen and picture in picture.

But what's doggin' me is that twice now I've clicked share, gone through the saving process, and the Mpeg plays without sound.

I'm using the trial version for now. Is sound disabled?

I doubt that's the case, because before saving, when I play it, the songs play just fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Thank you. bw!

Sounds like you have something disabled in the render setup. Can you post a screenshot of your render?

What was your issue?

The issue was that when it was time to render the video, I picked Mpeg (which is fine), but when saving you have to pick how you want your sound encoded as well, and that has to be done by clicking advanced save features. I then encoded the sound as mpeg as well, and everything worked out great.

Thanks for the tips, folks.

Thank you. bw!
