Gerard, This is a good start towards "your dream". What were you shooting with and at what settings? Do you have a perch or something for them to land on before they get to the feeders?

Shot with a 5D MKII with a Bigmos @ 500mm - ISO 800, f.8 @ 1/1000; because of the sun coming from the right, -2/3 EC and fill flash with a 580EX II, -2/3 FEC. EXIF says distance 5.91 m (around 18 ft).
The railing she is on is slightly at camera right. I have pine branches in front and to the left of the camera, where they often go before and after picking some seed from the railing (see pic below) - but in this series I could not get a real good pose on a branch.
I may try to fit a naked branch extending outside the railing to see whether they will use it?
