Good head shot. I took the kit lens off the T2i & put it on the XT for my wife to use without me using it for one shot. Maybe I'll put it back on and give it a try. You might try having your model look slightly to one side toward the main off center light source and then have him turn his eyes back to the camera. I hope you know I'm just kidding. I have 2 of them and they refuse to do anything I ask of them much less holding a pose.

But it depends on how much you want to spend and what exactly you want out of the program as there are some fairly high end programs out there with a lot of bells and whistles (e.g. tons of transitions etc..).
