Not the best test but maybe this will help. Shot RAW then converted to jpg with DPP. Not full size pics but I think you get the idea..

Some Test video from the T2i, first time I've ever shot video on a DSLR so be kind. Still getting used to the focus and it was a raining gray day out at the lake. Straight out of the camera, uploaded to Flickr.

I have a question about DSLR and UV (from sun)
I was wondering if i buy the T2i and 15-85 there already some kind of UV protection, i don't think i want to buy a UV Filter, because i beleive there a protection from UV Inside of the DSLR and/or the Lens. Am i right ?

My Gear : Few thing in metal, plastic and glass wich cost too much.

Yes you are correct, the UV filter really only protects the lens from impacts, scratches, etc.

Picked up my camera yesterday... I'm still virtually super-new to DSLRs, so I'm learning as I go along:
ISO: 100
Exposure: 1/20 sec
Aperture: 3.5
Focal Length: 18mm
Flash Used: No

Guys, just got a T2i for me and I can't seem to find a driver that will make my PC able to see RAW images without using any software. (I'm using windows 7)

Does anyone knows where can I find it?

Thx

If you got the T2i new you should have gotten the Digital Photo Professional cd... you should install that if you haven't already.

btw if your new to DSLR, you should really start out with JPEG... start with the basics.

I got it new and already installed the Digital Photo Professional which enables me to edit , view, and convert RAW images, but I actually would like to be able to also see them while browsing through the folder, like JPEG large Icons, but I cant.

To do that I should get a driver through Canon's website, but it seems that they don't have it yet.

Am I right?

Is it a good choice to go from 30d to 550d? :)

Depends what you want. It won't have two wheels or a top LCD, PC socket, etc. but the image resolution and high ISO capabilities, video, rear LCD, etc. will be much more modern on the T2i.
