South Side Slim - In Concert at the Queen Mary

South Side Slim is a Blues Singer from South Central Los Angeles. (For the benifit of the 99% of you who do not ive in the LA Basin, South Central falls somewhere between "the Ghetto" and "the Projects".) Last saturday he and his band played at the Long Beach Queen Mary Park. Of the hundred or so shots, these are my favorite. Thanks for looking, and please comment. All shots were taken with a 10d using a 70-300 DO lens using existing light.

I like them all. The reflection from the glasses in #2 is really cool. Nice captures.

All of them are good. I especially like #2 for the reflection in the glasses and the fact that it makes me think he's into the groove. And I also like #3, the sax player, but can't put my finger on what makes this one stand out for me....I just know I like it.
