My very first NBA game, hopefully not my last....

yes, all with the lowly 5d2. these were shot at 2.8 ISO1600 between 500-640 SS.

it's easy isn't it, shooting athlete's that are performing at the peak.

they look good.

did you use custom WB? they're a bit too cold...
warm it up a bit...and it would be great to see
some tight shots...

i do have several tighter shots, but weren't posted. check the gallery.

i did not shoot custom WB, but i did adjust it to auto WB in post.

but here's a shot in "as shot" WB......

Really nice shots! Glad to see someone is not shy with their 5D and sports. I think too many people try to focus too hard on what canon bodies "should" be for. I figure if it works for you, stick with it!


How's the 5D with tracking?

Theo Ratliff, one of the most underated C/PF ever to play the game IMHO...

anyway, back to the topic :), did you use the 70-200..?? I was surprised that you can bring that into the game...

wow these are awesome shots. #4 definately does it for me..the action is in the centre and theres so much going on around the whole frame
