Use Lightroom to view focus points

Is there a way to use Lightroom to view focus points?

I don't believe there is. Canons DPPis the only one that I have ever used for doing so.

I know capture one pro 5 shows where the image is in focus but i fount it just wasn't as intuitive as LR so lived without that feature

The only programs that can display the active focus point are DPP, ZoomBrowser EX, BreezeBrowser, and PhotoME.

Aperture 3 claims to be able to...haven't gotten to the AppleStore yet today to pick up a copy.

how do you do it in DPP?

You need a recent version of DPP. Press ALT+L or go to View > AF Point.

Select images, go to "Edit image window" (Cmd+right Arrow)
Hit Cmd+J

Different (or no?) shortcuts on PC.
