Hi, im looking into macro photography. Im new to all this... I know out in the field to rely on natural lighting isnt the best thing to do. So a flash is needed.

But in a different scenario-> For taking photo's indoor, could i not construct a little "model" studio by using white boards and put together something like a box, and place the subject inside, if i had to use a 420 EX would the light bounce off the surrounding "walls" and hit the subject? I know that the best way to find out would be to simply try it and see if it works. But the problem is i havnt got a flash at the mo and im deciding whether to get a 420 EX or a cheap ringlight system.

Hmmm.. what to do ??

I'll be taking pics of small animals and insects etc. With a 60 or 100mm macro lens. Still deciding on that too.

What do you guys think ?? Thanks...............
