Easy. 1Ds2 if you want full frame coverage, 1D3 if you want 10fps.

Its a hard call to make without knowing what you intend to do with it.

I find I use live view on my 1dm3 often, especially with MF lenses. I would like FF. But 5d2 is slow, and low grade on some of the functions. Like bracketing. 1dsm3 is to expensive. In addition several of my crop lenses work on the 1.3x crop, like 10-22mm, that I also use on 500d for light weight.

So I seem to be stuck with the 1d3. Since I'm not willing to swap out my crop lenses for heavier FF lenses.

I am missing the option to take advantage of my FF lenses fully. I only do landscape. But because 5dm2 is slow and no bracketing, and 1dsm3 too expensive, I'm stuck with 1dm3 because I want live view for mf lenses.

Not really a splitting point for me,
the 1DIII has such better High ISO IQ than the 1DsII. Full frame coverage is nice, but the newer bodies have a lot to offer. 1DsII is old.

There are more advantages to the 1Ds2:
-Narrower DOF
-Brighter viewfinder (given identical lenses being used)
-Bigger sensor; given the OP´s use being strictly landscape, that kind of has to count!

Better quality high ISO is not something just anyone needs. It´s neat to have perfectly usable ISO 3200 as an option, but not a necessity.

So.. The OP needs that 1Ds2, a matte focusing screen, and a 12-24 Sigma. In my opinion, of course. The 1Ds2 didn´t become any worse just because the Ds3 was released, and won´t become worse when the Ds4 shows up some day.. ;)

the only reason i pick a 1d3 over a ds2 is for sports use. the hi iso is not even that big a difference with a bit of NR program. all depens on the usage.
