Hi all,
First I would like to apologize if there's a similar thread already open, but didn't seem to find one. Otherwise please direct me to it
The thing is that I'm in a new studio with some other guys and they're having a Epson 4800 at disposal, but never really worked with it (they got it cheap used). Now I'm very interested in printing some posters, but am not so confident on how to make sure you're getting the most out of the printer, but also assuring the colors etc. would match perfectly.
I'm on a iMac 27" and will calibrate it with a iDisplay2.
Seriously, how to start? Should I simply but some Epson paper and then try printing, or am I wasting color and paper? Should I download some ICC profiles and in that case, how to use these? Also can I test print on smaller and cheaper paper in the testing phase?
Loads of questions, but I hope you can help since it's VERY expensive filling up this printer with ink...
Thanks a lot all in advance for your help and guidance!
