They were so cute and fun at that age. Now, they're pushing six feet and 200 pounds, and are full of attitude and hormones. The only times they smile are when they score, win, or are clobbering an opponent in the corner... I hear you Dan...my guys are 17 and 14 and much the same...although my older no longer plays and my younger is a goalie, so he does not pound in the corners....only hacks at guys in his crease when he needs to! My young fellow (almost 14) is also a goalie. I wish he'd hack a little more at the guys in his crease - not quite like Ron Hextall, but at least to show them he won't take any crap.
