Hi all, I can appreciate how difficult this might be to answer, but I'm wondering the going rate for images that sites use for their web pages. Things like headers, quality images of the goods they are selling etc.
I don't do this as a business but I had one importer offer to pay me for some of my photos for the products he imports as he liked what he saw, and to be honest I had no idea what sort of money to charge. I have another who may possibly be interested as well, who has a bigger business in the same field, but I'd like to get some ideas of numbers before we get to the point of talking numbers.
These aren't massive hit websites btw, they are niche market online importers/retailers.
I even suggested to the first importer that we barter with some goods instead of money, which he didn't seem to mind, but once again I stalled when knowing just what is the "going rate" if there is such a thing.
Any help would be appreciated.
