Wonderful set. I think #4 is my favorite. What I like is the casual poses. The first one is definitely one for the living room wall. Did you wish they were more color coordinated?

Thanks! I like to do a mix of natural and flash to give them a good variety.

Nah, I really don't care about colour coordination. Their clothes are part of their personality. I actually don't like it when families all dress alike. It looks unnatural. I mean, seriously, when do you ever see 6 family members all wearing blue jeans and white shirts? All I ask is a preference for no logos, but if they still want to wear a logo'd shirt then it still doesn't bother me.

Awesome set... love the location, and your use of the light is simply perfect. You did an awesome job of capturing the spirit of the family.... I'm sure they are going to be thrilled with the proofs. :)

Great as always. You captured the natural emotion and fun of the young family. This is the key in my opinion. The execution was excellent as well which always helps :)

These are all really great, the first is my favorite though. I love the light combo in that one...

For this shoot, I chose to bring the big gun (for me), which is an Elinchrom Quadra and a softbox (16x22). I could have just as easily done it with a single bare 580, but when I have the luxury of time, I bring the bigger gun.

LOL yeah that kid was a pretty funny guy. He really enjoyed being thrown up into the air. Some kids hate it though... haha.

I've always admired your photography, Lloyd. Number 3 is excellent!!! Great job with the OCF.
