Ray in the 1960 scan all the boat references start with FE
Does that mean they all part of same company?
Not sure how they designate boats etc.
I'm used to names like Betty, Salt of the sea etc.

FE is the registration for Folkstone Richard

Wasn't cheap either  Set of sails Mirror and launching trolley cost me £90  The only way I ever found to capsize it at the end of our holidays so as we could get all the sand, etc out was to get into a gusty wind, stand up and push like hell on the mast ! Great fun.

Disney Magic. Tilbury Docks/London Passenger Terminal.

I became aware of its visit too late in the day - it has been raining all day hence an early darkness.
I really missed the boat on this one.:-(

Hi John - That picture was taken in Hastings.
And yes, we did have internal combustion engines in those days - in fact my motorbike engine was bigger than, or as big as the average family car engine and, you always had to carry a toolbox full of tools and small spares, and, spare sparking plugs. But, petrol was about two shillings/Gallon (none of yer metricised litres or new pence stuff) and there great was comradery among most riders who would not pass a broken down motor cyclist without offering assistance.

Gene, Are you sure that is a shrimp boat - painted in navy colours? More likely to be a Russian spy trawler, if you ask me - that is!-?
