Restoration Project.
I thought I could do with a restoration project. So I took a run round the South coast to see what was available. I was introduced to this nice and very genuine, salesman (I know he was genuine - he told me so, himself:-)) - Here's what he offered me - my eyes lit-up, my mouth drooled - I was so very tempted. It just needed an engine and a winch - Oh, and a few planks of timber from the local DIY store.

For my potential restoration project the nice genuine salesman offered me a marine engine and winch to drag it out of the sea - Oh boy! - I was so tempted!
Here's what he offered me - only a bit of a clean-up and a can of WD40. I really cant understand what made me reject his offer.-?

The picture looks just a bit better than the boat.

A bad IPhone picture, but when you are on a cross country motorcycle trip, and you come across this in the Nevada desert, you have to stop and take a picture!

The place of those pictures is Dungeness in Kent. On the South East coast. Boasting the longest shingle beach in Europe with an ever-changing coastline, nuclear power station and an old lighthouse replaced by a new one. Many photographers have wandered the beach and area.
It is a community of its own with the people mainly living in old fisherman's type shacks.
The DH&DR Light Railway ends here and loops back to Romney and Hythe here. Popular with visitors. Lots of wild flowers on the beach and a nearby bird reserve.
